A healthy buttermilk recipe
Preparation Time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients
| • | Beetroot,chopped | 1 small |
| • | Carrots,chopped | 4 small |
| • | Fresh mint leaves | 20-25 |
| • | Green chillies,chopped | 4 |
| • | Salt | to taste |
| • | Black salt (kala namak) | to taste |
| • | Roasted cumin seeds | 1 tablespoon |
| • | Yogurt | 2 cups |
| • | Ice cubes | as required |
Method
Put the beetroot, carrots, mint leaves, green chillies, salt, black salt, cumin seeds, one cup yogurt in a blender and blend for two to three minutes.
Add the remaining yogurt, ice cubes and continue to blend for another two minutes. Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.
